Oh yeah.... for sure. You're hitting the rev limiter. You can prop it to have more top end and not hit the rev limit, but you'll lose some of your loaded hole shot. Anyway... Rev limiter is there so you wont blow your motor up by over revving, but don't let the boat sit on that thing. That's a lot of RPM's for a 6.0 They're definitely not made to go fast. Ours rarely sees more than about 30-35mph. (Message edited by guido on June 16, 2009)
