Since they are not as much of a cable board as the watson hybrid. I was just wondering what the major differences were between these two boards behind the boat, and which one people preffered?

I have rode both boards and I prefer the new shape watson. I rode the classic for 2 years, and it is a great board. Nice pop, easy to ride, and very forgiving. When I heard that the new shape was more aggresive I wanted to give it a try. Its a great board as well. Took a while to get used to after riding the classic. But once I got used to it and its edges then it was great. The new shape will take whatever you can throw at it, and will go as fast as you want it to go. You really can't go wrong with either board. At least the new shape has removable fins if you ever did decide to use it on cables.
