Various experts have been saying for years and it looks like FEMA is trying to save their ass after their Katrina debacle.

You're right, The Delta is a bad, dangerous place. Everyone stay away! Lakes are much nicer.

As someone who lives on a Delta levee rather then behind one I'm more worried about the raising sea level from global warming!

But I have seen some of the neighborhoods they are talking about. I guess the good news is there has been a lot more levee repairs and rocking done this season then I can ever remember.
