Tesco is one of the biggest brands in the world.
Its a supermarket chain in the Uk but has spread to almost every country in the world except the US.

Give it 10 more years and it'll be buying walmart

Tesco is a British company (it's a supermarket that is beginning to sell just about everything else so is taking over the country). Lotus WAS a British company that builds some seriously good sports cars (tho I'd imagine this Lotus is probably a chinese restaurant or some such).

My guess is the Middle East as well. I'm pretty certain it isn't Britain, that's for sure.

Is that even a 1/2 ton truck? That needs to be in a truck commercial. The boat is way bigger than the vehicle.

I'm guessing that the boat has no engine or lower unit.

The rear end of that truck is not even sagging a bit. And with the majority of the boat hanging off the rear, there has got to be sag.. I am calling shenanigans

How would he get it on the back of the truck like that? Marina style boat lift? Fork lift maybe?

my first guess was thailand, but I dont remember seeing any vehicles that big there....

hard to say without a baht bus in the background! or a whole family on a moped`!

Andy, at first I thought it was photoshopped. But look at the reflection in the window from inside the car taking the picture; and the shadow. They're good if they can do that.

I thought the same thing Rich. If it's fake....it's a damn good one!
Old    kvanderg            10-20-2006, 2:53 PM Reply
I like the flag tied to the bow rail? Just in case you didn't notice the boat... here is a black T-shirt to get your attention

The reflection in the window and the shadow on the ground is good but the rear suspension doesn't seem as sagged as it should and the tail gate is bent down a bit in the middle... but once again... not as much as it should.

As I still hold out some hope for humanity... I say this is a fake

photoshop or not, that's a great idea!
All this time I thought I needed to pull my boat to the lake on a trailer...the things I've had in the back of my truck and I never thought of this?
Old    fishboatwakerider            10-22-2006, 11:32 AM Reply
i bet launching it would be a pain.
Old    wakesetter23lsv            10-22-2006, 6:07 PM Reply
now all we need is a yacht on a car

That sure looks like a Thai boat.

It's light for a couple reasons.

No outboard motor on it. (most of the boats there are outboards)

Most have no upholstery or anything other than a throttle and steering wheel.

The construction quality would make bayliner top of the line. Paper thin hull for sure.
