In the past couple of years, I've noticed that the major jet boat companies have been putting out boats marketed to wakeboarders.
Seadoo:http://www.seadoo.com/NR/rdonlyres/D55F3D17-5E77-4FB7-96B8-8615CA24C073/0/Bkg_01_Large.jpg

and Yamaha: http://www.yamaha-motor.com/boat/products/modelimage/422/8/1/0/image.aspx

The wake on these boats cann't be that great...right? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

no, your right the wakes are really mushy and soft behind jet boats. I had a yamaha ar230 and sold it after 1 season. If i didnt love wakeboarding i would still have it. So if you plan on wakeboarding even 10% of the time i still wouldnt get a jet boat! Just my .02

I checked out that sight... those guys are nuts... I would never have the guts to take a boat the places those guys were going!

Too bad they didnt slow down enough to take a wake pic!
