I've been riding for 3 season now and I'd like to get a new board. I've been riding a Trip 143 and would like something that holds the edge a little better. The pop has been fine and I don't have any problems going w2w and my knees don't really like me landing out in the flats. I was considering the Fish or the Substance.

Any sugestions would be appreciated.

The Fish won't have a stronger edge than the Trip, but it will kick you more vertically to land on the downside of the second wake. The pop on the Fish is pretty explosive. It's been a long time since I've ridden a Trip, but the Substance will probably hold an edge slightly better than the Trip, and will also give you more of a vertical pop. The Team would definitely hold an edge better than the Trip with the cupped outer fins, but has a continuous rocker like the Trip, so the pop will be more up and out into the flats when you push it hard. We've got all of these on sale right now. Let me know if you have any other questions.
