Where is a good place to ride/take lessons in San Diego. I will be there in Nov of this year. What is the weather and water like then? Also I am looking to learn to surf. I am a life long midwesterner and want to try this. Any suggestions/ info would be helpful

You can learn to surf and wakeboard at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center:

The weather in SD during November should be in the low 70s to high 60s during the day and 10 - 15 degrees cooler at night. The ocean temp should be in the mid to high 60s.

November isn't listed on their web site, but try giving them a call to see if they can accommodate you or point you to another place. They are just north of San Diego.

I agree with the Lagoon. Great place. Loads of fun.

PS - Gabe - you really need a pic on your profile bro! Show 'em what the "flying fro" is all about.
