Where to buy custom Fib. tower box?

looking to buy a fiberglass tower box that has 6-6's facing back.2 facing down,and three forward.Who should I talk to?

get ready to spend some money...that will be a custom box. Try your local stereo shop, they should be able to build one. There are lots of pictures on here of 6x9, 6.5 boxes to take desighns from.

I'll build you one.

Like Adam said though, a custom box like that is very labor intensive and would have upwards of 40hrs in it (about $2k without speakers)

Hey Josh I have one box that is not finished yet, 6 8inch speakers fireing back and five fireing into the boat with the W logo on the front of the box, I will try to find the pic and post it here

I thought I had it made working in a cushy government job, but if that guy can charge two thousand dollars for 40 hours worth of work, then I want a job like that. ripppppppppppofffff

i think $1500 to $2k isnt that bad for a custom box..

$40 for a professional anything is reasonable (consider a plumer @ $100 /hour).. so you have $40 x 40 hours plus $100 to $200 in material and you are right in the ball park

Lets talk materials...

$100 in glass and resin(cheap home depot resin and glass)
$100-300 in paint
and lets say $50 in cloth and MDF
oh I almost forgot about the bondo and primer add another $50.

So thats $400 just in materials and a so so paint job. Now add in a regular shop rate($60(which is cheap)) and assume the guy can haul ass and it only takes him 25 hours to build the box 60x$25=1500. Theres your $2k for a custom one off box. Thats not including a custom airbrush job, or multicolor paint. If you want something that nobody else has, its gonna cost you. If you want something made out of a mold its a lot cheaper.

Alright guys.... Now that you break it down, it doesn't seem that bad. Im just use to doing as much myself as I can.
