I hear alot proper edge this proper edge that what is your definition of proper edge? and my sis needs some tips on clearing the wake the almost has it down but needs more advice! thanks

That depends on the type of edge. There are different edges for different tricks, but the most common type is the progressive edge. If you don't know what that is, do a search for it. You will find more than enough information.

The other thing to keep in mind is keeping the rope tight all the way up the wake. That's often easier for beginners than thinking about the edge of the board. Here's a GREAT trick for beginners: As you cut towards the wake, think about not trying to cut across the wake FOLLOWING the boat, but actually try to turn a little away from the boat like you're trying to actually go back the way the boat was coming from. This will keep the line extra tight, which gives you the big "pop" or pulls you into the air. I used this trick when I first learned to jump wake-to-wake on my toeside edge, but it works great on your basic heel-side edge too. Good luck!

Just set the edge like this pic and I promise she will clear the wake. I agree with the search option, this question has been asked dozens of times. Also check the "Trick Tips" forum.

no way, is that steve hilstcherterdferder, that cut was so strong i thought at first it was darin shappy. i guess thats how real ninjas do it, way to represent for your crew.
