As much as I am looking forward to the 04 hyperlite stuff, why does it seem that there is so much buzz about the hyperlite gear more so than any other company right now? Just a question

Timing. Other companies aren't releasing 2004 stuff until 2004.

not entirely true J-Rod. CWB has already shown the 2004 Prodigy and the Pure series is considered a 2004 product. There has also been some showings from Liquid Force and Double Up, if you are paying attention. Maybe the reason Hyperlite's 2004 line has a lot of buzz is because Hyperlite has a lot of buzz in general, compared to other manufacuturers.

I did not realize the CWB pure was an 04? It is on sale at buywake with a set of torque bindings

Because Hyperlite is by far the most popular board Company with the biggest product line. They have most of the top riders, all with pro model boards for 2004 and Most have pro model bindings. Face it people buy what there fave rider rides more often then not. and IMO they have the highest quality boards and bindings among the larger companies. not to mention that this is a new model year with all the new shapes that these pro will be on for the next 2 years (Harf,Murray,Byerly) and this time next year we'll be talking about the new shapes for Parks, sharpe, and ruck.

well...the "highest quality boards and bindings" part is debatable. But having more money definitely empowers you to get your product to market faster.
