just checked out the plati-dip thread...but that looks like a matte finish.

am I best to just take em to a body shop? or is there a good DIY alternative.

I'd prefer a method where if I screw up...someone can undo it for me!

also, the cans are plastic...and chrome painted. they are the older, cylindrical titans that used to come stock on malibus...before they want to a more oval shape.

THANKS!

for the price of the plastidip and the results i'd give it a shot on one of the speaker cans and see how it turns out if it was me. They also sell a gloss so the matte finish can be turned shiny if you prefer.

I got a good deal on the close-out speakers that Wetsounds were offering (white only). Took them to a local body shop and they are spraying them gloss black for $50 to match my two existing Pro-60's. I love DIY's so I say go for it, but having them professionally painted is also an affordable option.
