Does anyone else have this yet? I picked it up from a local dealer today, and I was very surprised to see the new products that were being advertised in it:

Eight.3 Ballast bags - Supposedly fills and drains 3 times quicker than other ballast bags. A division of Ronix. Also mentions a submersible pump with patent info. The web site www.eight3wake.com is listed, but apparently doesn't even exist yet.

Axis A22 Recon Edition - Inspired by Lyman, a tribute to military service. Looks sharp, great cause.

Humanoid Odyssey Bindings - Other than a twitter picture, not much has been shown to the public regarding these. They look good.

I guess I don't recall this many new products debuting in a magazine. Typically I see this stuff on the internet first. Is this the norm for Alliance? If it is, I definitely need to switch my subscription from Transworld over to Alliance.

its not something you see in every issue. I have seen sneak peaks in both magazines, but as you said, usually you hear about it somewhere on line first especially if you are checking online mags and forums daily or even weekly.

Nice to hear that the Lyman edition Axis is finally being produced. first word on that was over a year ago... i think in Alliance magazine also. an article that was interviewing each of the major boat brands side by side mentioned it almost in passing.

Both magazines are great, but overall i think i like alliance better... especially in light of recent events when i knowingly let my subscription expire for transworld wakeboarding mag. they keep sending me these last chance announcements in the mail and i just laugh at the price increasing with every other one. if they want me back so bad, don't increase the price, especially higher than what it would cost for me to renew online.
