I was at New Malonies last week and the water is HIGH. I was told by a friend the water is expected to rise up over the high water mark this week and run threw the Spillway. Here are some pictures I took last week from in front of the spill way and it looks like the water only need's to come up a few more feet so I guess I could see it running threw.

If you haven't seen the spill way you can see in in this video I shot this winter.
Fast Forward to the 6:40 to see the spill way.

here are just some random pictures of the lake
This is a camp sight that got over run by the high water
And the last picture is just of a cool place we found to park

Cool pics! I haven't been there this year yet. I am anxious to see the lake at capacity. Where was the last picture taken? Looks like a neat little spot.

Don't think it will actually overflow. Lake has been starting to slowly drop. The campsites you pictured were suppose to be ours last weekend but for obvious reasons that didn't happen. We were actually right behind from where the photo was taken. Definetly love seeing the lake that full.

We were there sunday and are going again Wed ( live local) ...the lake has dropped a couple feet in the last week. They are avoiding the spillway if possible due to river capapcity issues. The lake is still the highest we have ever seen it ....up river some of the coves that didn't even exist last year are miles long. Those campsites in your pictures are usually about 150 feet above the water line on an average year...it is crazy to see how high it is....

Crazy been a about two years since our last trip down there. They had to close even some of the low water ramps last time we where there. Nice to see it full for a change.

Cool video, G. What kind of plane is that?

You Cali guys are funny. Don't see high water very often, huh. It's a way of life up north.

will be there all day tommorow but have heaerd it has gone down another foot or so, so it doesn't look like the spillway will be needed.

I was at Tulloch on Wed shooting 2012 MB's. That was was freaking cold. Like 70 in the canyon as surface temps. I am sure 6-10' down is much colder. Was a real great day for taking photos though
