Ski beach is not for children. Unless your definition of children is young adults getting complety wasted, fighting, throwing bottles and other nonsense. Oh and lots of nudity

If you are by Korths Pirate Lair, just head down the main channel towards Stockton. From there you will see several slews that come off the main channel. The nice spot is the slew after the Hilton's Residence. You can go either north or south from that point. All good spots to anchor and swim.

Head north of ski beach across the cable ferry, stay to your left. About 1000 yards down the slough you will see a beach on the left with a big sign that says "Berkeley Water Ski Club". Approach slowly (no wake) introduce yourself and you will likely be welcomed. Just keep in mind that you are just short of the entrance to the slalom course, if you throw big wakes down the slalom course your chances of being welcomed are much slimmer.

Type this into google maps.

That will give you a small sandy beach during low tide. That is roughly were we stayed overnight for the 4th of July fireworks.

Potato Slough 38.082318, -121.540203 Really close to Pirates Lair. First or Second Bedroom (You will understand when you get there) Family Chill spot

Bottom of Franks Tract 38.020475, -121.602902 More people, more boats, but there is a sandy beach.
