I had to bring my boat home last night for the dealer to perform some service work. I am wondering about trailering in 39 degree weather and if there should be any reason for concern. I trailered for about 2.5hrs with the temperature ranging from 39-42 degrees. The boat had it's trailer cover on. Is there any chance that damage could happen due to freezing. The temperature has warmed back up today and the high should be around 65 today.

32 degrees is freezing so it sounds like you don’t have a problem. I would suspect it would take longer than 2.5 hours (even @ 32) to cause concern.

Were you trailering on planet earth where water still freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit?
