I'm sorta on the other end of the chain on Island lake usually ride there or loon. Lmk when you up we can hook up and ride, I'm up just about every weekend.
Chad thanks for letting me ride the Inland Surfer last night, that thing is sooooo fun!! Def a huge change from skim board, can't wait to give it a ride again.
I F'ed up this weekend. I poked my eye with somthing I couldnt see in the dark. Doc said I will be ok but I am done with wakeboarding for at least a week. Maybe more. I havent ridden for 2 weeks as it is so I am getting really antsy. Now and the ballast system is finally done I guess I have to get the other projects done on the boat this week now so it will be 100% when I go next. With any luck I will be too. My vision is still blurry out of that yey though. Kinda scary.
Sorry to hear about that Don. This week off will be a good chance to hit the gym or the road and try to stay in shape for riding.
On a positive note - I "shared the stoke" this weekend with my 21 year old nephew. Took him out for his first time wakeboarding. He started snowboarding this year (after 3 years overseas in the military) and to my surprise - he popped up on his first try and shredded for a long set. He was getting started with edging and having fun behind the boat - and being a young ego infested guy tried a few wake jumps and even tried a 180 bunny hop.
Gotta love sharing the stoke. He's gonna pick up his own board this week and start riding with us regularly. Here's a couple pics.
I have been passing it on with my wife's cousin who is 17. I have been getting him out a little last year but is definately getting more dedicatred and pushing to go this year a lot more. Hopefully we can get on his own board this year instead of mine all the time.

I just got back from a great day of riding. Everything fell into place today, the boat ran great (finally), the ballast system worked like it was supposed to after the 3rd revamp (finally) and I (finally) got to use my bimini top I got a few months back. The wake was great, we surfed a little and pissed off some opener fishermen. Trailer pulled nicely, and had some good buds out with me, weather was awesome.
I should be around Tuesday after work if anyone wants to ride- this week's supposed to be AWESOME- but this will be my only night I have open ( bummer) so let me know if you want to get out.
Hey Jeff! I don't think I am going to make it out. My good friend and fellow wakeboarder, Wade Fischer, is getting married that day. Would love to come out and meet everyone though! Sounds like you guys are going to have a blast!

SUCH a nice night to ride, summer is definitely here. No wakeboard pics tho, haven't brought the T1i out onto the boat yet.

I took a fairly epic edge on Sunday. Jeff, Jason and Will were able to witness the hilarity. I'll be down by 5:45 at the latest. I'll try to hurry down. Is your cousin coming or just the two of us? Gonna be hard to take pics and pull if it's just us! I'll throw those vids/pics onto a CD tonight if I can remember it and bring them for ya. Sick night last night. We rode Marion. It was blown out on the main part of the lake so we just rode the launch bay... Bryce and I EACH got 4 sets in!!!!!!! Solid effort. My body is hurtin today after riding 4 sets last night and Crossfit this morning..
Side note: I found this band from Minneapolis this week. Their newest CD is available for free download on their website. I have no affiliation with them, hadn't even heard of them til this week but it's decent light alternative music that will be good for the boat.
Just wanted to share the stoke with minnesota people, I got my nephew up on my board with me on the second try. Had the driver pull us up slow... too slow on the first attempt and couldnt hold it. A little faster on second try and it worked great. The pic is when we first got up... the board rides deep in the water when first getting on plane!!
Erik is correct, C&E Auto Upholstery in Savage. They do great work, and get the vinyl directly from Mastercraft so it's a perfect match. I didn't have them do the carpet, but I've considered it...I'd love to do a snap in carpet, but I think it would be spendy! What are you thinking of getting done, and when? I've been thinking about doing a few seats, and my sundeck...we could probably get a discount since we have the same boat....but, we'd have to do the same color I'm sure.

I was at my dock doin some stuff to the boat/lift on marion, weather was nice enough to ride but bad enough to keep timmy the tuber off the water... one guy out wakeboarding and maybe one or two fishing boats on the whole lake... you coulda "owned" a nice section of water..
Does anybody have a cheap board rack that they would be interested in selling? Just thought I would give it a shot to find something local before I pulled the trigger on one online...
anyone know of a place to have a transmission rebuilt around here? The borg warner 1:1 velvet drive gave up on me last night in the old 2k1. I can pull it and put it back in, I just am a little afraid of rebuilding it myself. oh and the cheaper the better as budgets are tight
