Does anyone know if jabsco makes a ballast puppy where the intake and output nozzles face the same direction? The reason I ask is that on my '04 X2, it seems like the center bag has a hard time filling and draining. When you look at the pump, one of the hoses comes straight from the manifold, and the other goes out the other side and does a huge loop up and over a wall and back towards the center bag. I think this excess hose is causing the pump to struggle a little bit. I thought about putting some elbows in to make the run a little more straight but I don't know how that would mess with the flow. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

As long as the hose is not kinked, pinched or collapsed, the Ballast puppy will not mind the added hose length or lift.

Could be a restriction in the hose, poor connection to the pump causing low RPM's, or bad impeller.

I put the yellow impellers in sometime last year and they aren't as stiff as the blacks. Do you think the impeller fins could be too flimsy to seal good?
