My two batteries are officially dead. That said, I need some recommendations based on the diagram below.

It is setup where the amps, tower lights and ballast all run off batt 2. I would keep the switch set to batt 1 in all cases except emergencies.

Should I have a starter battery for batt 1 and deep cycle for batt 2?

Should an on-board charger be added for battery 2 and should I remove the isolator?
