I do believe I'm starting my winch build off right, but have one question.

Just picked up a 10HP OHV Briggs, but it doesn't have a keyed shaft, but instead a threaded one

Think this will cause any issues?

it's not hard to swap shafts on those things

Not hard as in tearing down the whole engine and replacing the crankshaft???
