Honestly helmets feel like they affect my riding. For example if your doing a HS front flip and need to push your head into your shoulder to start the rotation. It feels like my head grew 5 sizes and throws me off. Not my steez, but they sure can save lives

yea last night i had to spot for my dad backing the boat back into the side-yard. started to get that wonderful feeling and started to salivate a lot, just told him he was good when he had like 5 feet to go and threw up twice. Smoothie king does not taste good both ways at all

Got my second knockout of the year yesterday. My second concussion yesterday has me seriously considering retirement.

I have had two on the wakeboard, one doing a HS FS 360 and one doing a HS backroll, had a helmet on for the backroll, now I wear a mouthguard, don't want anymore.

I kinda think getting a concussion is part of progressing. In any sport when you go big, things are going to happen, you're going to fall and a concussion is just part of that!

Had the knee in my face resulting in a black eye and a bloody mouth and nose trying a hs backroll.

How long are you guys waiting until you ride again after getting a concussion? I did a roll to revert to face plant yesterday off the double-up. Supposedly I was repeating myself for 30-45 minutes in the boat (I don't remember it). I felt ok yesterday evening, but today I have had a headache all day...I think partly because my neck is so sore. I haven't seen a doctor or anything, but all of this talk makes me think I should.

You should get checked out just to make sure you aren't internally bleeding.

If you were repeating yourself and today have a headache then there is something seriously wrong. No dought go to the ER.
