Seems I have a loose wire somewhere, but where I am not sure.

In my 95 sea ray, when I am going past 20mph or when its really bumpy, the volt meter jumps from 0 to 15volts and the gas gauge goes from empty to where its currently at.

It must be a connection somewhere, but I checked all the wiring behind the gauges and its fine. Do you think it could be at the alternator somewhere, or on the ignition switch?

Anyone have something similar happen?

It sounds like you have a loose ground wire behind the dash.
