We will be moving out to Washington State this summer and will be looking for a house somewhere between Tacoma and Olympia.

Are there any good riding spots around there? Ideally, I would like to look for a place less than 15 minutes from the water.

Any recommendations from the locals?

Thanks

Some of the more popular spots around the Tacoma Area are American Lake and Lake Tapps, but those get pretty busy. There are a lot of nice little lakes about half hour away. About half hour south of Olympia is Koppert lake and they have a buch of rail and stuff. But thats pretty expensive. Also you can always ride on the Puget Sound. Both Tacoma and Olympia are right on it.
