Custom Swim Platform

I am toying with the idea of buying an old inboard and making it a project boat. After interior and exterior work is done I want to add a tower and replace the old swim platform. Most of the boats that I am looking at have the old teak platform and I want to get one made that looks like a modern boat. Has anyone had a custom platform made for a boat recently and who did you use?

Search is your friend on this one. Many have been done and posted. Easy to build one yourself and have it glassed or even do that yourself as well.

Yeah I want to know how much too! You could make some easy money if you can beat the price of the 2012 Axis platforms since the old Axis platform doesnt surf great!

What do you use for the core to wrap the fiberglass around?

We build them out of molds in the same process you would build a boat hull. First you spray your desired color jell coat, hand lay the fiberglass and add blue water board for the core, ect. We are currently building a few more molds for different sized boats that will be available in a few weeks. Our swim steps start around $600 depending on size, padding and custom options like LED lighting and logos
