Ya there really isn't too much around here unfortunately. There is Hobb's Board Shop but their main focus seems to be snow and skate. I called them last June and they didn't have any 08 gear in yet...

Sorry about that David, I mis-read your question. As Mitch said, if you are not hitting the slalom course then a wakeboard handle should work just fine for skiing.

Yes most ski handles are made of rope that has a lot of stretch in it whereas a wakeboard handle ideally should be no or low stretch. That is the same reason why it's also best to use a wakeboard...

The PS3 tracks great without the middle fin. I actually never even tried putting the fins on because I like a looser board that releases quickly off the wake. I don't know what level you ride at...
