I really wouldn't sweat it for that short distance, these boats have a low tongue weight anyway.

If it does bother you, just get a buddy with a truck to do this twice a year tow....

I had a 93 Sunsetter dd (open bow) and the wake really flattened out nicely at 28+. But, keep in mind it is true that a vdrive makes a larger wake because the engine is in the back, it's not as bad...

Also, I've never been able to figure out why inboards, in general, cost more. They are the simpler, more crude drive system. Maybe it's all marketing.

15w-40 is the standard weight for diesel engines (also used in gas engines). You can get it about anywhere, Walmart etc. Shell Rotella and Mobile Delvac are common brands.

I've found if you go by chest size, they are too loose around the waist. And since they are vests (no sleeves) you can usually fit in one that has a chest size that is smaller.
