sometimes you have to prime the impeller. counter-intuitive but I've seen the same situation with a new impeller and you actually gun it and the water rushes in to prime and then you're good.

Good advice - bow weight. We've found 750's in the back, locker sac, sac in the walkway (400lbs?) and the triangle sac on top (maybe fills to 800lbs) throws a great wake.
