Check with Semper Marine and see if they might inspect it for you. They are in Madera Ca and an amazing Sanger dealer. Possibly the original dealer selling the boat so they may have service records....

Looks like you stole it. Looks clean. Thta is not alot of hours if it has been well cared for. My 1987 Nautique had 1800 when Ii sold it and ran great.

Dont over tighten or you will burn shaft and waste it. Ck the packing material as the wax gets old & hard . It is cheap and easy to replace once nut is loose.
