You definitely want out of those bindings if you forget to let go of the rope. A 4000lb boat will do a lot of damage to your body if your board is held by the water.

Re engine upgrade pricing - both the 350 and 400 are upgrades from the stock 310 (which doesn't really ever get ordered). I think the 350 was about 4k more than the 310 and the 400 was around 6k...

Just put my new X-30 in the water. Tower seems to have a fair amount of play from side to side. I added a tower to my last boat (SeaRay 220)and it was rock solid on the boat. Have not boarded yet...

Thanks for the input. I went with the 350 HP on the X-30. The boats had different options, but on direct list comparison, I ended up at 72K with the trailer which was almost 7K less than the other...
