It does have a more thin rail along the edges and that can contribute to a few more edge catches compared to something with a surf-like rail. I used to ride the Viva and I solved the problem...

The Ronix boots have those little binding teeth and the rubber tooth inserts, and the Slingshot cap and anchor pieces you would use to attach the boot to the fast track are designed...
