My boat had a problem with the glue they used bleeding through the vinyl. It only did it on the grey due to it was more porus. It was a warranty issue and new covers were installed.

Water, took a good chunk out above the prop and then the strut is bent. The vibration caused the <BR>gel coat to crack out around the strut. Im going to take out the shaft and have it checked.

I never saw what I hit, it was dark in about 100ft of water on Flathead Lake in Montana. With the way it looks and the scuff on the bottom of the boat, it appeared to be a log.
