In the past, I have just worn a wetsuit top when the water was in the mid 50's. It's tolerable but still pretty chilly. I think that I am going to go to a shorty with long sleeves this year.

I would also go with the Wetsounds. I have a pair of Pro 80's and they are amazing. They are very loud and very clear where I ride at 70-75 ft.
