Yes, the 409 is a great engine. The 330 Scorpion in my last Enzo had to work way too hard compared to this engine.

Question for you engine gurus

I've been testing a few props on my SV244 Enzo and wondering if there is an optimal rpm to wakesurf at. I have the PCM409 and with at least 3000#'s of ballast running at 11.2 mph close to sea level....

All amazing boats and with a little fine tuning will suit all of your needs. I would purchase the one with the largest seating lounge. You can never have too much room for family and friends.

With heavy ballast you want your small block engine turning over 3000 rpm's. Think of driving up a steep hill, your car kicks down a gear to get the engine in a more efficient rpm range for the load.

If you want one board for all three riders try an Inland Surfer Black Pearl. It only comes with one fin so purchase two extra fins ( ride as a tri-fin) for more stability for the beginners.
