I find it hard to believe that your MB seats starting tearing on their own. MB uses thick vinyl and I've never had any problems with my seats tearing....plus the seats are warrantied for like 3...

Ah, thanks for the information....I wasn't aware of that. Yes, the one I saw at my marine dealer was a galvanized version. I also ordered the galvanized version, which comes with a bag.
