Yes, a Traeger can burn pellets other than the Traeger brand. Traeger pellets are just ok in my opinion. I know Traeger says you can only use their pellets, but I've never heard of them refusing...

With the whole house dvr, swm-8 and the ethernet over coax, you don't need wireless either. You just have to introduce internet into the DVR "cloud" at some point via ethernet.
