I get simlilar GPH in a 22' footer when we do not fill the Heavys. The GPH drops to 6-7GPH when we have more than 2000 in it. You pay a lot over the course of the year for that extra 6 inches of...

No benefit if you like the handles on the boats you ride on. I kind of cringe when every rider shows to my boat up with their own line. I will swap lines but not a fan of it after every set and I...

I had two corner rear seats re-upholstered at a local mom and pop type place with marine vinyl for around $75/each but it was a one color vinyl job on smaller seats. Dropped off ripped, picked up...

I get what you are trying to say Tigeguy and agree with your general notion. Despite the loyalties and claims that the big three hold there value better, there is probably not a lot of difference in...

Also prop rotation changed from the old 210s to the new models so you get a better surf wave on port (reg) and when in reverse you drift to starboard. The new 210 is not as steep as previous hull,...

Jason: No single right answer. For regular riders, I pay or hope to get the cash equivalent of 3-5 gals gas per set rounded to the nearest $5. If there is a significant tow, I will throw in more.

Chris - I get what you are trying to get info on. You want to buy a boat but just want to know if it is better now or to wait until gas hits $4-$5/gal.

I do not have any hard data, but prices on...

I don't worry about it unless I'm not going to use the boat for a while. As I understand it, phase separation takes a month or more time to be a significant concern.

I will probably be a little more picky in my invites on the boat and will probably ride less. If it is one of those marginal days (several other boats, chilly temps, a chopped but ridable surface),...

Not sure about the wake-ability of the hull, but one thing is for sure, you could probably put 6000lbs in her and your gunells will stay dry. There is a lot of freeboard. I would guess it would...

Ohh my.... I think they snuck a clip in of scantily clad ladies in an apparent attempt to use sex to sell.

Sorrry - I couldn't resist after reading that hipocrytical boycot WBM post.

I wish I would have had the good fortune to ride in a boat that was slammed to the point the platform was dragging at 24MPH. So far no such luck and I have been in a couple of really slammed boats.

The main thing is varying RPMs after the engine is warmed up and the oil change after 25 hours. Pulling tubes may be the easiest way to work through a lot of different RPMs. Enjoy your new ride!
