I'm very happy with my Ridesteady as well. It takes some time to get the settings right for different amounts of ballast on my Sanger V215, but play a little and you'll be so happy you got it.

If by prop slip you mean that you were having to run higher RPMs at the same speed then I would think that's definitely possible. You have an additional source of drag in the water so the engine has...

I'd imagine you would be better off with the 525 overall. I'd say just don't expect a night and day difference after plopping down ~$400 for a prop. If you're ok with that, the 525 would definitely...

I should have specified that I was speaking to the Black Scorpion on the v215. This motor has a WOT spec of between 4800-5200RPMs. This is what your motor should run WOT with your normal load. If...

I've talked extensively with Acme about prop changes as I'm at 6000' heavily weighted. I don't know which hull Sanger you're curious about, but I can tell you that on a V215 you will gain ~286RPMs...

Thanks! Yeah we're planning on going to that this year. We were looking for people prior to that though as well! ;) If we find some COS peeps at the meet and greet that'll be great.

Looking for Thirds in Colorado Springs

My wife and I are looking for thirds to come wakeboarding/wakesurfing on Prospect Lake on weekday evenings and weekends. Our Sanger V215 is ready to roll and has cold amenities such as heater with...

Yeah I've got the Bennett trim tab and it helps a bunch. I basically run with it down almost all the time. I can feel the drop in power for sure. I'm glad I don't slalom or Barefoot. It would be...

Acme 2083 on a Sanger

Has anyone run an Acme 2083 on any Sangers? I picked up an Acme 911 (10.5" pitch) since I brought the '05 v215 up to 6000' altitude, which ran pretty good but was didn't have quite as much holeshot...

I replaced a group 24 battery that was in a battery box with a group 27 without a battery box in the recessed fiberglass area under the rear seat of my 2005 Sanger V215. I used the strap from the...

Yeah I remember falling on a wakeboard over on that side and accidentally standing up. We're a little more careful over there now.

Nope, not too many Sangers out here. I drove to California...

That's true about the matching gauges. The Ridesteady gauge sure is nice though. I don't have any of the fancy new boats/gauges so the Ridesteady gauge seems to improve the look of my dash overall....

Ridesteady (GPS) Review

I had a tough time finding information on the Ridesteady user experience (the GPS version) prior to pulling the trigger so I decided to put up a review to potentially help others. Iíve never done a...
