I'll try that and see if it solves the issue. I wonder why the factory had it set up like that and never suggested it be changed. It originally had Kenwoods and wouldn't push those either.

I have a 2004 Z71 Tahoe and pull an 06 Supra 21v. Still pulls pretty good with 167k on it. Made plenty of trips with 4-6 adults inside and all our stuff for the weekend in the boat.

Mine stays centered even after towing. Sometimes i can't get it perfectly lined ( I just drive up on it) and don't worry about it. I always throw straps on the back as well.
