Inspect the housing near the bolts. I torqued mine down too much and got hair line cracks in the metal, replaced with a one piece plastic rear housing.

That's even better, if i had the cash for those racks id do that too, you cn load em up from the boat. And save space. Unfortunately my boat is covered in the back.

Ya I mean I'm no mechanic but I know you need to give some gas on a carb which is why i was wondering why no gas seemed to be gettin in when I throttled on start up. I'll try to gas in the carb trick.
