I know most people don't prefer to, but running Malibus with the wedge seems to stabilize the boat from side to side. It usually doesn't matter where people sit when running the wedge.

Meg - at that price you could find a 1995-1997 Malibu Sunsetter, which is basically the same hull as a Sportster (SV23 wake) but on a wider and longer boat. With a Sunsetter you get much more space...
