The wiring is way too small for load generated by the pumps. After trying several sets of smaller impellers, my dealer installed relays back in 02 and I have not had a single problem since.

I had the same problems with my 02. It was caused by the voltage drop to the pumps. The wire is way too small to pull all those amps. Dealer re-wired with relays and they always work. No flipping...

On x-star, another difference is with graphics and gel coat. On the standard color hull (not reverse), the color gel coat goes much lower on the hull for 02. Not really good or bad, just different....
