im still going, i never stop going.

dirwoody 09-24-2003 9:47 PM

I'm goin this weekend, near omaha NE, gonna freeze, but i don't care

joe_788 09-24-2003 9:57 PM

I went yesterday, and I'm going again tomorrow. I'm thinking of picking up a wetsuit or something, because that 61 degree water(Sac River) is almost unbearable.

bbr 09-24-2003 10:07 PM

Went this morning and heading out again tomorrow morning. Air temp 93, water a chilly 76. Kidding, its really actually quite warm.......

wakejunkeygirl 09-24-2003 10:10 PM

tomorrow...but then again, I am in Florida!!

levi 09-24-2003 11:27 PM

See ya on the Delta this saturday..........

levi 09-24-2003 11:30 PM

Tim, is that Lucky Peak?

cbv 09-25-2003 4:11 AM

Today - all day - leaving in a couple minutes now.

rootc 09-25-2003 6:42 AM

Sunday will probably be the last ride of the year for me. Air temp is going to be in the 50's. Sleeping bags in the boat are the key to a good time.

indywakechica 09-25-2003 6:52 AM

Went yesterday and the water temp showed on the boat as 67 (air temp was nice...like 80 I think). After that initial shock it was ok. It's suppose to rain and get colder all this week so not sure how much longer I'll be able to take it. Sucks!! I'm not ready for the season to be over.

jplorenz 09-25-2003 7:06 AM

we will be out this weekend here in Oregon. high 80's air temp (about 10 above normal) water still in the high 60's.
John

wazzy 09-25-2003 7:06 AM

I usually stop watching the weather around this time & just ride. Last weekend we rode in some cold a$$ rain. Who knows what this weekend will bring in Wisconsin??

And don't forget Winter Water Land....

tranner 09-25-2003 7:10 AM

Still ok in California. Riding Castaic this weekend.

81_tru_trac 09-25-2003 7:17 AM

Levi no this is black canyon res out of Emmett Ida. About 30 miles NE of Boise Ida. And like Tim C said just us and one fishing boat and the water was smooth as glass. Don't no how long the weather will last it's been a great summer!!!!!!!!

wegotbikes 09-25-2003 7:18 AM

Going strong in Lake Charles
tribal 09-25-2003 7:38 AM

Still going strong in b.c.

mvda 09-25-2003 7:49 AM

Went last night, going tonight. Tim, go buy a non-stretch rope! I'd rather ride behind a 20 year old 18' tri hull with non stretch rope than a loaded SAN with a ski line. They make a HUGE difference when it comes to loading the line.

jroyal 09-25-2003 7:54 AM

Still going in Montgomery, Alabama. Air Temp mid 80's.......water in 80's as well.

aaronlee13 09-25-2003 9:14 AM

Cali has been beautiful... Last week or so 90-100's.. but it has cooled in the last few days to 80's... I will be out all weekend!!!

bdehaan 09-25-2003 9:15 AM

Tim: we hit Jordanelle Res., near Park City, Utah, last night and it was cold! Water temp. around 60, air temp. low 70s. We'll be lucky to get one or two more days in before season's end. Its actually quite depressing!

aaronlee13 09-25-2003 9:27 AM

i think the delta in cali water temp is in the low 70's

scottyb 09-25-2003 10:08 AM

These kind of posts make me jealous. The water and air temp here are about 60. So still going strong. I figure about two more weeks until i either get a drysuit or quit, and i am broke.

canaday 09-25-2003 10:37 AM

It's too cold in San Diego right now. I stopped going.

goose69 09-25-2003 10:45 AM

Still going... in fact we are filming tomorrow. Here in Portland, Oregon it's around mid 60's to 70's for air temp and low 60's for water temp. Still riding weather as far as I am concerned.

Jared Schassen
VP
NumbSkull Productions
www.numbskullpro.com

riverfreak 09-25-2003 11:03 AM

the river is so not crowded this time of year, and the water has cooled down so its not like hot tub water....its so nice this time of year.....temps in the mid 80s....

colorider 09-25-2003 11:16 AM

We are!! 59 deg yesterday air, 65 water. 6 days left till the lake closes for the season. Gonna ride as much as we can till then. Only riding in shorts and rash guards too. We refuse to give mother nature the satisfaction by wearing a wetsuit!!!

aaronlee13 09-25-2003 11:23 AM

hard core!

tparider 09-25-2003 7:34 PM

Rode this afternoon, hopefully going again Saturday. I'm going to do my best to only sit out a few weeks as the "end of the season" and then start back up again....
walt 09-25-2003 7:45 PM

I'm going tomorrow AM @ Lake Sonoma ,CA

hdcorwakbrdr 09-25-2003 8:48 PM

Hey my picture is on here and now I'm finally a member. Sweet. hopefully I'll have more pictuers before the season is over

parkcityxj 09-25-2003 8:50 PM

Rode today in UT. 75 outside w/water temp of 61, I'm a wuss and drysuiting it now. Hopefully have 3-4 weeks left before I need to winterize the boat.

troyl 09-26-2003 5:44 PM

Winterize??? whats that For me winterizing is the day I wax the bottom of the boat. Dec 26th 2002.... 59 water 73 air. gotta love so cal in the winter.

goinbigg17 09-26-2003 6:24 PM

im riding in Seattle tomorrow, hopefully it aint to cold yet, maybe go out a few more times still.

gotpwr 09-26-2003 7:32 PM

Rode yesterday in KY, water 73, air 72. I'm planning to go out Sunday, but the air is only going to be 63. Hopefully the water will still be in the 70's. If that damn Canadian air would quit pushing south, I might have another month left.

sonicr1 09-26-2003 11:48 PM

went today, Delta Ca.

wakelvr 09-27-2003 9:13 AM

In about a month or so we'll pull the drysuits out and keep going (Delta, NorCal).

stephan 09-27-2003 11:40 AM

Damn we sport spring suits to the middle of November and then swith to Full suits. I've never used a drysuit and I ride year round. Granted I've also froze my arse off, so there you go... Nacimiento year round is pretty good and only a few days when it just too cold. Now I would go if I could get a freakin ride! Last weekend I was out at 7 am and it was cold, but the water was warmer than the air and it felt quite nice, very refreshing

itsinthahole 09-27-2003 4:46 PM

still 100 degrees in az. wont see a wetsuit until november

walt 09-27-2003 4:46 PM

Who makes the best dry suit ?

gunz 09-27-2003 4:57 PM

Nice pic Walt........

phantom5815 09-27-2003 5:22 PM

I can but it's either :
-just too tired
- too lazy to ride
- Weather not cooperating , especially with the thunder and lightening.....too many people getting killed or maimed are here in FL
pjdave 09-27-2003 5:38 PM

mmm never ending season, what a dream. Hang on, just remembered it doesnt get cold in Australia

teamvaldez 09-27-2003 5:47 PM

still riding everyday out here in Canyon Lake, CA. Hey Riverfreak, we are going to be in a contest at Bluewater on the 23, 24, 25 of October, come on out and join us!! Orlando, here we come on Wednesday!

hockeyruss 09-30-2003 4:59 AM

Water is 78 degrees in South Carolina, almost time for a shorty but not yet.

todd_fish 09-30-2003 7:46 AM

WakeNup... How late in the year do you ride?
I'm hoping to be able to go most of November.

svfara 09-30-2003 9:48 AM

I plan on riding until ski season starts up here in New England. Plus I pick up the new boat on the 11th, can't wait!

I managed to transition from skiing to wakeboarding the same weekend in the Spring, so I'm hoping to complete the cycle this Fall.

hockeyruss 09-30-2003 10:35 AM

We ride here until the end of November. Water temp then is about 60-62 degrees. I know that doesn't sound that cold to you northerners ( i used to be one) but your blood thins out when you live in a hot climate.

todd_fish 09-30-2003 12:53 PM

My Blood is already thinning and I've only been down here for 4 years.

I woke up the other morning and thought that 50 degrees was chilly... what is happening.

I think a snowboard/ wakeboard weekend would be awesome. Hit the slopes saturday and the lake sunday. Anyone up for it.... that is in South Carolina?

scottyb 10-02-2003 10:43 AM

Last night it was like 24 degrees here in wisconsin. We just took the boat out of the water so now it is a 5 month wait for the next season and my depression begins.

captainfreedom 10-02-2003 11:13 AM

Still riding here in Seattle. Went out yesterday afternoon. Believe it or not, 72 air temp and 68 water temp. Still trunkin' it, but will go from shorty to drysuit in less than 30 days once the weather finally changes.

wazzy 10-02-2003 11:26 AM

Scotty~ hey man there are a couple events in the area this winter if you really need to ride.

check out www.winterwaterland.com ......

priapism 10-14-2003 10:30 AM

Rode yesterday at Canyon Lake; air temp- 90s, water still about 75. Ridin' year round.

We're done, and I'm so bummed! Took the boat in last Saturday for winterization. Outside temp here is still nice - high 60s to low 70s but the water temp is too cold.

robwakester 10-15-2003 12:22 PM

hey I'm still Going strong on lake miskoka Ontario Canada with no wetsuit

sdboardr99 10-15-2003 1:11 PM

SoCal weather is perfect right now, clear warm days and cool nights. Water at the local lake is 70 and out at the Colorado River it's still 80 with 100 degree days. We'll be able to trunk it for about another month then it's time for a shorty, and then fullsuits in December, just in time for snowboarding season to kick off.

wakeon 10-15-2003 2:48 PM
