Any updates on Lyman?

Anyone got any updates on Lyman? How he's doing, is he still riding ect.? Had a crappy day the other day and for some reason just wanted to do nothing but watch videos of him riding.

talked to a buddy at Hexagon, he is stationed 30 minutes away and has been riding there a few times. Sounds like hes doing well

That's crazy ironic, I was having an off day the other day as well and vimeo'd Lyman videos to feel better hahaha. Lyman charges so hard, much respect to him for serving our country, but my selfishness wants him back on a wakeboard haha.

Glad he's doing well! He's a true patriot and i think one of the best ambassadors that wake has had.

Godspeed!

He was out riding on Falls Lake in Raleigh this past weekend I believe. Didn't get to see him out there but I am sure he was killing it as usual!

I super surprised they let him ride. When I was in the army we had mandatory safety briefs every time we were off work for 24 hours and had to have briefings on how to barbeque and swim in pools safely. I he is SF as so many have said thats a huge investment for him to take the not so unlikely chance of getting injured wakeboarding. Not saying I dont think that he should be able to ride but the army is a huge big brother control freak bureaucrat show. One of my friends in the army had an article 15 (which is the army form or pressing charges) against him for getting a sunburn which they cited as "damaging government property". He received the sunburn while working also... Hope Lyman experiences better leadership than I did

Haha, wow. I doubt his command is that ludicrous. Most logical commands would issue an article 15 like that. Your friend was probably breifed to wear sunscreen and chose not to.

When I was in, wakeboarding was not considered a high risk activity. I doubt they have any limitations on it.

I didn't know he joined the military. That's awesome and the kind of athlete kids should look up to. Anyone selfless enough to drop a career as a professional athlete to go serve their country deserves all the credit they receive and then some.
I was always a Lyman fan, but this certainly tops him as my personal favorite. I might order his board or bindings today just because of this.
