I saw the email too. I didn't look at though until I saw the thread you started. Picked up a couple of things. Guess it tells us just how much mark up is in audio equipment.

It is a garage sale. How much money do you make on a garage sale? I wouldn't be surprised if these are all being sold at a loss especially when you consider the work it took to refurbish them back to working condition..

With that said if you can clean out the shelves and create room for 2013 while making a couple bucks on the side why not do it.

Yes, old electronics have to be blown out for cash early enough when the time is right. It's not like fine wine that improves with age.
Wetsounds just had a refurbished sale. We are doing the same in the off season.

Most of this stuff is gone gone guys. And I cant really say its a money maker. It's mostly refurbished gear that is collected throughout the year and deeply discounted. We did update the site last night with a few more one off finds.

Had a local guy stop by and re did his entire stereo for less than 1K. He was pretty stoked.
