The world's most expensive model car! WTF

Starting price of 4.7 Million!
WOW more than 12 times the cost of a Real Lamborghini Aventador.
So if you had 5 million laying around that you felt like spending on a Model how do you think other people would view you? I guess if you were in the position where you could spend this much money on somthing like this you don't care what other people think. IMO this thing will be pretty much worth 1/100th of what you payed for it in a few years and its a Stupid purchace. I don't know why I felt this way about this Item but the first thing that came across my mind was this. You buy this Model car for 5 million dollars. You have a few friends over for a party and your showing off your new purchace and everyone that see's what you spent 5 million dollars on a toy car now knows FOR SURE that your a IDIOT!

Opulence, I has it.

bendow 12-16-2011 5:16 AM

Wow....absolutely retarded.

acurtis_ttu 12-16-2011 8:45 AM

way I look at this is it's a whole other level of lifestyle.

For instance....take the guy who can barely afford to spend $100 on christmas presents for his kids. bet he thinks I'm pretty stupid for wasting 60k on a boat, lol.

My friends dont' think I'm stupid or an idiot ( most of the time)

It's all realtive.

My intial reaction is , "I want to know what youre doing that allows you to spend $5 MM on a model car"

I have never understood the "I'm going to pass judgement on others for how they spend their money" crowd. What a waste of time and energy.

Too bad it doesn't have this in it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3lXc...eature=related

Gotta go +1 with Grant, based on his first two sentences...

4.7 mil is a little past the "wow that's cool" threshhold for buying a toy... For me anyway...

But just to show what a cool guy I am, when I get the opportunity to do the same, I'll just buy a real one for me and Grant, then give the rest to charity.. :D

Does it have 4.7 million in diamonds, platinum and other precious metals? If so could it be an investment?

That's cool car. 4.7 million is to big. However if you are rich man better buy it and use this head turner car.

meathead65 12-18-2011 8:57 AM

I'm curious what the value of the gems and precious metals are, and how much of the price is fluff.

grant_west 12-18-2011 12:48 PM

^^^^^^good point. I guess if there is 5 million in diamonds ect glued into a toy car then at least you have your money into Somthing that you could re-coop but from what I saw the seats and head lights were the only diamond encrusted pieces. I'm no diamond expert but I don't think there was 4 million in diamonds in the car
