New wakesurf boat on the way!

A few weeks ago I ordered the new 2012 Centurion Enzo 244. It has the same hull as the 240 but the interior is very different. They increased the main passenger area by 18" (shrunk the bow area). The entire back of the boat is new too.

Totally stoked for the new boat! I'll post more pics as I get them. Thanks to Les at the factory for taking these...

nice, i really want to keep in touch with you as i have an 09sv23 and am thinking about the 244. It looks like it will have soo much room to slam it. thanks

ilikebeaverandboats 06-27-2011 11:33 AM

sweet!
what are those holes on the nose?

ragboy 06-27-2011 11:39 AM

Very cool, love boat builds.

lksamm 06-27-2011 12:37 PM

Doug- The boat feels like a stretch limo. We were able to spend some time in and behind the boat during the 2012 photo shoot a few weeks ago. I'm really impressed with it. The interior is all new too. If you're in the Seattle area in the next few weeks, you are welcome to come check it out.

Joey- Those are vent holes. A mesh grill goes over them. In most boats, I'd be a little concerned, but with the enzo, the bow rides really high so it's VERY rare to take water over the bow.

lksamm 06-27-2011 12:48 PM

Also, the OTHER holes in the nose of the boat are for docking lights.

dougr 06-27-2011 1:01 PM

i wonder how it will weight. I always have 7 to 10peeps on the boat and want the extra space. I am on the east coast, but will see when my dealer can get on or if he has one on order. thanks

tonyv420 06-27-2011 1:10 PM

very nice, glad to see they havent changed the nose to a pickle fork. I'm old school and like the traditional pointed bow. Will it be ready for the NWWSA tourney?

lksamm 06-27-2011 1:30 PM

It will be pulling the regular riders! We were hoping to have it by this weekend but I don't think that's going to happen...

tonyv420 06-27-2011 1:46 PM

sweet, i'll be riding on the reg. side (backside)

wofrankwo 06-27-2011 3:39 PM

Niiiice....but I sure hope the state of their workshop has no reflection on the quality of work they deliver.

Keen to see the outcome.

Here are a few more pics. In one of them, you can really get a sense for how large the seating area is!

Love the picture of the engine dropping in, cool looking.

wofrankwo 07-05-2011 3:20 PM

it looks like you can get a serious amount of people in that boat!!

ragboy 07-06-2011 3:49 AM

RJ and I are headed to CMS on Saturday, going to check out a couple of the new centurions. Always love looking at new boats. Not sure what's going to be there, but I think Brett from Centurion is going to be there. Brett is good people, along with the CMS folks.

lksamm 07-08-2011 9:51 AM

The boat is in the final stages. I should see it mid to late next week!

wakemitch 07-08-2011 5:07 PM

Robert, CMS will have a 2012 233 and 240+ along with a demo 2011 230+

ragboy 07-08-2011 5:39 PM

Can't wait to see them mitch, bringing crew and cameras. We should be there from about 10 to noon. Great looking boat Mark.

ragboy 07-13-2011 1:34 PM

Mark, do you have any cockpit shot, so you can see the size, that you can send me?

lksamm 07-13-2011 4:31 PM

I will tomorrow! The boat is suppose to arrive this evening. If it's not too late, we'll unwrap it and get it in the water.

ragboy 07-14-2011 11:27 AM

We got some good stuff at CMS. Podcast is UP!

motogod77 07-15-2011 8:37 AM

Nice - looks huge! How much $$$ with what engine?

ragboy 07-15-2011 10:11 AM

We just did a podcast with Brett and Grant from CMS, they say 4-5 weeks for delivery.

Here are a few more. This if BY FAR the nicest boat Centurion has produced in my opinion. The fit and finish is perfect. The vinyl quality is as good or better than any boat I've been in. It's super easy to walk over the rear and step on to the swim step.

I have a whopping 1.2 hrs on it (although it came with 1.1). This weekend I plan to break it in the go SURFING!

lksamm 07-15-2011 10:40 AM

Scott- It took about 6 weeks to get built and delivered.
TQ- I'm running the PCM 409 with the CATS. Price will depend on the options you order.

ragboy 07-15-2011 11:16 AM

Y, that cockpit is ginormous.

motogod77 07-15-2011 11:31 AM

So "about" how much was that boat with the PCM 409 as equipped.

I would guess he gets a "friends" special since he buys a new boat each year and is associated with Inland Surfer:) So I doubt he is going to give a ball park number. I believe MSRP is just above $100k and that boat comes standard with the PCM 409HP engine. So my educated guess is that you are looking at +/- 85K.

ragboy 07-15-2011 12:33 PM

That is what I saw at CMS as far as MSRP. But I can tell you that CMS was offering the boats lower, seemed like a pretty good deal to me. But I don't want to post that here, I am sure someone wouldn't like that. ;-)

I was thinking my guess of $85K might be a little high. I just dont know what the mark up for a 2012 boat with the new Wet Sounds system is. So high $70K could get it done.

Right now in Dallas, a 2011 240+ can be had for under $70K and a 230+ can be had for low $60K
