Midwest Snow Storm
2 Attachment(s)
We got effin' hammered today.
Its been like 24 hrs of this and we're at about +24".... not to mention the drifting

Our screen doors open out and it honestly was a huge PITA to even get out of the house.... and my car is just burried.

I know the cities got hit pretty hard too

sidekicknicholas 12-11-2010 9:14 PM

and an old roomie came to visit

crazy... supposed to be 70 here tomorrow - definitely ready to get out on my bike after all this rain. my bro's in minneapolis, I can't even imagine...

3+ feet in 3 days up here in London, Ontario. I guess its time to pull the boat out of the water.

Holy crap! So what do you do...just not leave the house for days?? Or can you actually shovel your car free? That's crazy and that's why I live in Texas.

sidekicknicholas 12-13-2010 9:32 AM

didn't leave the house from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening.... then roomie and I just started digging, two of us, two cars to get out took like 90 minutes.

At home home (I'm at school now) we have a 4-wheeler with a plow and snowblower... much easier. At the appartment here though its the old fashion way.

Campus is still a mess today... but the roads are all fine.

finally went snowboarding, it was awsome!

-5 degrees this morning my brother says - their street still hasn't been plowed.

Laker1234 12-13-2010 3:23 PM

Nick, what state are you in?

sidekicknicholas 12-13-2010 5:31 PM

Wisconsin.... the pictures were from my school house, about 30 mins from the MN boarder... 50 min from the cities.
my home home is almost dead center of the state

pucktowake 12-13-2010 8:31 PM

i live in saint paul. There is so much snow everywhere! I can barley shovel the drive way there is just no where to put it all!
Also saint Paul public schools are having a second snow day!

sidekicknicholas 12-13-2010 10:11 PM

I know! When I dug my car out I had to fill up garbage cans and haul it a ways.... our landlords still haven't plowed, but I expected that, they're worthless.
