Charlotte, NC Wake Event October 23rd
 

Shred Ready Helmets and the US National White Water Training Center have teamed up for a winching exhibition Saturday October 23rd in Charlotte, NC. The event is being held during the Center's Whitewater River Jam Fall Finale… and absolutely MASSIVE festival held every year. We'll have some representatives out from several companies showing off products like new boards, winches, etc… as well as the winch demo going on all day, with a wakeboard feature starting at 6pm in the competition white water channel right infront of the stage. It’s a huge party with bands, drinks, you name it.

If you are within driving distance of Charlotte and looking for something to do that weekend come check it out. The venue is amazing and watching the kayaking and rafting alone is worth the trip… we were amazed at how sick this place was the first time we sessioned it.

Just got off the phone with Chris Hopf and the guys at the East Coast Wake Park. They are coming out and building a rail just for the event.... Stoked.

Oh yes...We're pumped and are bringing quite a treat!! Can't wait to see everyone there!!

What time is this rail event? Why don't they mention it on the WWC website?

We'll be hitting rails all day starting about 11. The actual wakeboard feature doesn't start until about 6pm when the raft traffic stops. David and Jesse of the WWC are helping coordinate everything but we didn't get final approval until last Wed to actually do it so there wasn't enough time to get it up on the website!
