How do I push the wave back? Sanger 215
I've got a good wave going but its too close to the boat. How do I push it out a little? I'm running front 500 full, port rear hard full with a 550 sac in the port locker full as I can get. 2 adults & 1 kid in boat or 1 adult & 2 kids (90lb ea) . Running 10.2 - 10.5mph

Mine is better at 10.7 starboard and 11.0 port side. That's with a Bennett trim tab full up.

Speed up and/or add weight to the bow.

I run 1300 in the rear locker (in the other locker I have a little over 200lbs in batteries), 500 midship at 11.2-11.5 loooooong and juicy.

Hate, you found a benefit to weighting the opposite side of the boat?
Just trying to sink the whole back of the boat a bit more? |

Andrew, I had no way around it it was the only place the batteries would fit. I have one on each side of the very back of the V locker with the aft wall removed. I was surprised to find that it did in fact improve the wave mostly as it comes to push further back in the wave. Give it a whirl and see what you think.

We've been running a little in the opposite side, no idea how much (about 1/3 on a 750 by the eyeball). It made the wave look MUCH worse, yet it has a lot more drive. Season is almost over here, but next year I'll find a way to get that power AND a clean wave!

Mines clean as a whitle. The weight I have is pushed all the way back, rear wall removed and all.
