Pretty Sweet Deal On a No-Name Netbook (48 hours)

We already have one (Dell) but this one seems like a good deal for someone wanting a netbook. $220

seems like a great deal if you want to give your money to a company that went belly up a long time ago.
I would not give circuit city a dime. Buyer beware with this one

Tigerdirect.com bought the circuitcity name out of BK a long time ago. It's legit.

And FWIW, calling an Asus netbook "no name" is a bit of a misnomer, as Asus basically invented the netbook with the eeepc a few years ago.

tiger direct is the shiznit. Have bought tons of stuff from them with only happy endings!
They run CompUSA now too - go figure.

4 cell battery no great deal... walmart price.

6 cell battery... very good deal. $60 savings from Costco price.

I beat the crap out of mine on yacht survey every day and it hasn't skipped a beat.

We have a CompUsa brick and mortar in my town. I'm glad TigerDirect kept it open. And I've bought online from Circuit "tigerdirect" City as well.

Asus is one of the best netbook manufacturers out there. I have one and it is solid. I think i paid like $250 for it with 250gb HD. Got mine off of newegg.com.
