Water Blade Squeegees

Anyone use one of these to wipe down your boat?

Yes. These work great. After I use the blade, I go back over with my detail spray.

eeek....swirl marks waiting to happen

I've used these for years on my cars with no negative effects. I typically use it to get the bulk of the water off and then use my microfiber drying towel to finish up.

^^^ Gel coat is not soft like a clear coat is. That guy is worried about those small scuffs? He should adress the orange peal in the paint first LMAO!!

I have put my old car under fluorescent lights and there is not effects whatsoever. My guess is that you need to keep a good coat of wax on it at all times and dont pull it across a dry surface.

The Absorber synthetic chamois is what we use on the 50-60' yachts we clean every week.I use them on my black boat all the time now. They work great and they come in a plastic storage tube that keeps them damp,so they don:t get hard as a rock cause they dried out and they don't mold or mildew in the tube

I work at a Chevy dealership preparing cars for delivery, and from what I've noticed, the jelly blade does not work nearly as well as the T-bar when removing large amounts of water from the body of the car. But if you use a chamois, it shouldn't really matter which one you use. Do what Adam does. That sounds like a good idea for any vehicle.
